Leave a lasting legacy by building the
PS 165 School Library
NYC drastically reduced funding to public schools this year - and those cuts removed all funding that would have supported our library build. It’s more critical than ever to raise funds to build the school and experiences we want for our students.
When they cut budgets, we raise funds!
Our fundraising goal is lofty $34,275 – the rest of the funds we need to finish the library and give our students the learning space they deserve:
-
Build out the entire physical space
-
Add all the shelving and fixtures
-
Turn an empty room into an inspiring library

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Your talents make our school great. Please consider giving your time to our school.

Does your company do corporate matching?
Many employers “match” employee donations to charitable causes; doubling or even tripling your tax-deductible contribution.
How do I know if my company has corporate matching?
Ask your Employer (HR or Finance) if they participate in a Corporate Matching Program for donations to nonprofits.
Examples of donation management companies include: Benevity, Fidelity Workplace Giving, Your Cause.
What is the PS165 nonprofit?
We are listed as “Friends of PS165 Robert E. Simon”
If you do not see “Friends of PS165 Robert E. Simon” listed in your company’s donation management site, or if you have questions about corporate matching, please email PTA@ps165pta.org
