Dear Parents,

A packet was recently backpacked home regarding the upcoming PS 165 After School Program from United Arts Partnership and Creative Connections (UAP/CC), made possible through the 21st Century Grant. This is a very competitive grant and we are proud to be a recipient! The after school program, for children in grades 2-5, can offer programs in Digital Media, Visual Art, Dance, Theater Arts, Music, and Young Entrepreneurship!

Another exciting aspect of the 21st Century Grant is that it is helping to fund our recess enrichment through E3 Sports! This important enrichment for our children was created through collaboration between parents and our school leadership, and has been funded jointly by PS 165 and the PTA.

As we explained during our PTA meetings this past Fall, the cost of this important program increased notably this year. Thankfully, the grant helps to alleviate some of the cost increase! In return, all families must return the NYCDOE Community Schools After-School Program Student Enrollment Form, regardless of interest in the UAP/CC after school program.

Please fill out and return the forms by Wednesday, January 31st. If you have any questions, contact information is included in the form. Thank you!
